Donations with Gift Aid
Gift Aid will be applied to your donation if you have previously completed a Gift Aid declaration form.
You can access the Gift Aid declaration form and learn more about Gift Aid below:
For donations made to ECKANKAR UNITED KINGDOM, Gift Aid can be reclaimed from the tax you pay for the current tax year at no extra cost to you. This increases the donation by 25p for every £1 donated.
To qualify for Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer. If you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations to any charities in that tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
If you have not previously completed a Gift Aid declaration for donations to ECKANKAR UK and wish to do so, please download the Gift Aid declaration form here and complete and return to ECKANKAR UK, International House, The McLaren Building, 46 The Priory Queensway, Birmingham, B4 7LR. This will enable Gift Aid to be claimed by ECKANKAR UK on future donations you may make or any made in the past four years.
If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
You may donate with gift aid if the above applies to you.
However if you want to donate without Gift Aid please click here.
Further information on Gift Aid can be found here.
Please notify ECKANKAR UK if you:
-
want to cancel your gift aid declaration
-
change your name or home address
-
no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains
